Anita Kidritsch is a Professor and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Health Sciences, St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences. She serves as Deputy Head of Studies and leads research in interprofessional education, digital rehabilitation, and health communication. Her work spans both academic and clinical domains, with significant contributions to physiotherapy, neurology, and dance medicine.
Dr. Kidritsch earned her Master of Science from FH Campus Vienna in 2011 and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of West Attica in the Department of Public and Community Health. Her educational background supports her interdisciplinary approach to health sciences research and teaching.
Her research focuses on interprofessional education and training, digitalization in health education, neurology, physiotherapy, and movement analysis. She investigates how digital methods can enhance interprofessional collaboration in healthcare education and practice, with particular attention to the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) framework. Her work also explores dance therapy applications for aging populations and balance improvement.
Analysis of her recent publications reveals a strong emphasis on digital solutions for interprofessional healthcare education, with significant contributions to the INPRO and DIRENE projects. She serves as an official at Physio Austria in the professional networks for Digitalization and Technology as well as Neurology, and is a board member of tamed eV, Organisation for Dance Medicine. Her professional activities extend to the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS), where she contributes her expertise in movement analysis and rehabilitation.
