Anita Dewi is a Lecturer at the School of Information & Communication Studies, Charles Sturt University (CSU). Prior to joining CSU, she worked in academic libraries, providing both industry and academic expertise. Her research focuses on information literacy, professional identity, and work-integrated learning including library placements.

Her work collaborates with Dr Asim Qayyum and explores the evolving role of librarians through studies on research librarianship, service delivery models, and library economics. She has published extensively on library education, language policy, and social entrepreneurship.
