Dr. Anique T.M. Bellos-Grob serves as an Assistant Professor in the Multi-Modality Medical Imaging (M3i) group at the University of Twente, Netherlands, within the Faculty of Science and Technology and Department of Biomedical Imaging & Sensing since 2017. She concurrently works as a Technical Physician in outpatient clinical care at ZGT's gynecology department since July 2020.
She earned her Ph.D. in Medicine in 2016 from the University of Utrecht. Her research specializes in urogynaecological imaging, focusing on pelvic organ prolapse diagnostics through magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound techniques. Key expertise areas include echogenicity assessment, pessary applications, and pelvic structure analysis during pregnancy.
As co-promotor for three PhD students, she annually supervises five to ten bachelor's and master's candidates in urogynecology theses. She led the Gynius project (TTW-OTP 2017), developing gynecological innovations. Affiliated with the TechMed Centre, she integrates clinical practice with advanced imaging research in the M3i group.
