Anique Ruiz is a Lecturer at Marquette University Law School and serves as the Interim Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Community Empowerment & Institutional Inclusivity Liaison at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). She also co-advises the IMPACT Movement Student group at UWM and teaches graduate-level courses on legal issues in public service at Marquette University.

She also advocates for student parents and caregivers through organizational initiatives.

Anique founded The Journey For Women, Inc., a nonprofit supporting women’s holistic well-being, and served on the Milwaukee Area Technical College Institutional Review Board. She is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin and the U.S. District Courts for Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and is proficient in Spanish.
