Prof. Anil Kumar is a Professor of Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Analytics at the Guildhall School of Business and Law, London Metropolitan University. He holds a PhD in Management Science from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, along with a Master's and Bachelor's in Mathematics from Kurukshetra University, an MBA, and UGC-NET qualification. His research focuses on sustainability, circular economy, Industry 4.0/5.0, and supply chain analytics. He has over 150 publications in top journals and eight books. Notable contributions include world top 2% researcher rankings (2022-2023) and best paper awards at global conferences. Prof. Kumar leads MSc programs and supervises over 100 research projects. He actively organizes international conferences and serves as a Section Editor for Heliyon-Information Science.
Research interests span sustainable operations, supply chain resilience, and digital transformation. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical industry applications, particularly in emerging economies. He emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, integrating AI, IoT, and blockchain into sustainable practices.
