Anil Kahvecioglu serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Bilkent University's Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences. He earned his PhD from the same department in 2022.
His research focuses on social movements, authoritarianism, and political mobilization in Turkey, with particular emphasis on pro-government rallies and opposition strategies under competitive authoritarian regimes. His work examines the complex interplay between state power and societal resistance in contemporary Turkish politics.
