Anik Choudhury is an Clinical Assistant Professor of Accounting at The Pennsylvania State University's Smeal College of Business. He holds a PhD in Accounting from Drexel University (2024), an MBA in Finance from Penn State (2019), and a BS in Accountancy from Villanova University (2006). His expertise focuses on archival audit research, economic impacts of accounting policies, and financial statement assurance dynamics.
He teaches Accounting Information Systems, Data Analytics in Accounting, and previously taught at Drexel University. His research explores capital market competition, audit demand/supply, and minority entrepreneurship in crowdfunding. Awards include the Dr. John J. Clark Award (2024) and MBA Fellowship (2017–2019).
Choudhury has over a decade of industry experience in auditing and financial reporting at firms like Johnson & Johnson, Time Inc., and Deloitte. He volunteers with Madison A Better Chance and co-founded the Roby House Alumni Foundation. His professional certifications include CPA (NY) and proficiency in SAS, Stata, and Python.
