Dr. Angie Sassano is a Research Fellow in Philosophy at Monash University. Her interdisciplinary work focuses on food studies, Science and Technology Studies (STS), environmental ethics, and decoloniality. She investigates the ethical implications of new agricultural technologies, particularly AI and robotics, and explores decolonization within food movements to foster Indigenous-settler solidarity. Her policy research addresses environmental and migration challenges, including fossil fuel lobbying and refugee resettlement.
