Angelita Barrios

Angelita Barrios, a Clinical Nurse Educator at UCSF Health and Assistant Professor at the UCSF School of Nursing, transitioned from over a decade of direct patient care in surgical and urology units to academia. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2019 and developed a skills assessment tool to help clinical instructors identify student strengths and weaknesses, enabling tailored lesson plans.
