Angelika Grundling

Angelika Grundling is a Professor in Molecular Microbiology at Imperial College London's Faculty of Medicine, where she has been since 2007. Her research focuses on bacterial pathogens, specifically investigating cell wall synthesis and nucleotide signaling pathways in Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes, combining genetic, biochemical, and structural approaches.

• PhD in Microbiology from University of Vienna (2000)
• Postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School (Listeria motility) and University of Chicago (S. aureus cell wall studies)
