Angela Vasiljevic is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, specializing in Romance Studies with a focus on French language courses. She holds a Master of Arts in Language and Literature from the University of Belgrade and is currently completing her doctoral dissertation on Discourse markers with prepositional components in French and Serbian at the same institution.

Her research centers on the intersection of syntax, text linguistics, and pragmatics, particularly in discourse markers, contrastive French-Serbian analysis, and lexicography. She has contributed to projects like the Dynamics of the Structures of the Modern Serbian Language and is affiliated with the Department of Standard Language at the Institute of Serbian Language, SASA.
Recent publications highlight her work in bilingual dictionaries, pragmatic adverbs, and textual connectors. She received the MPNTR scholarship (2018–2022) and is a member of Matica Srpska, DSJKS, and JeRTeh societies. Teaching roles include French language courses at the Faculty of Philosophy.
