Angela Silverman, MD, MA, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family, Community & Preventive Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. She practices family medicine in Center City Philadelphia and University City, focusing on primary care and preventive health. Her academic background includes a BS in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University (2007), an MPH from Drexel University (2011), an MA in Bioethics from Temple University (2015), and an MD from Temple University School of Medicine (2015). She completed her Family Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2018.
Dr. Silverman’s research interests center on healthcare quality improvement, urban health challenges, medical ethics, and vulnerable populations. Her work addresses depression screening protocols, colorectal cancer education for providers, and homeless health access.
