Her research interests include urban video art histories, participatory moving image projects, digital archives, and mega-event infrastructures. Notable projects include collaborations with Knowle West TV and the Vaughan Postcard Collection Residency. She holds a first-generation academic perspective, informed by earlier careers in archival work, librarianship, and cultural heritage management.

Her teaching encompasses undergraduate fine art modules as well as contributions to architecture and film programmes. She emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and material sensitivity in her pedagogical approach.

- Decolonizing traditional creative spaces
- Public engagement through participatory art practices
Her recent projects (2020–2024) reflect trends toward environmental humanities, queer spatial politics, and sustainable art practices.
