Dr. Angela Gamouras is an Adjunct Professor affiliated with the University of Ottawa's Department of Physics and the Joint Center for Extreme Photonics (JCEP). She is a physicist at the National Research Council of Canada's (NRC) Metrology Research Centre, where she focuses on optical radiometry traceable to the International System of Units (SI). Her research emphasizes few-photon metrology, including single-photon detector efficiency measurements and characterization of quantum dot-based single-photon sources.
