Angela F. Gardner

Angela F. Gardner, M.D., F.A.C.E.P., is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and serves as Chief of Operations, Quality, and Patient Safety. She held leadership roles at the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and contributed to national healthcare policy, including the Affordable Care Act. Her expertise spans emergency medicine, patient safety, and healthcare advocacy.

• Education: Medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, residency at Texas Tech Regional Academic Health Center, and undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Gardner specializes in Emergency Medicine, focusing on Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Healthcare Policy. She pioneered ACEP's first blog, Gardner’s Gate, and remains active on social media as ACEPheadliner, advocating for emergency medicine through platforms like The Central Line.
