Angela Buchholz

Angela Buchholz is a Researcher and Head of the special outpatient clinic for transplant psychology and Head of a research group at the Department of Medical Psychology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Hamburg. She leads initiatives in psychosocial medicine, focusing on organ transplantation, addiction treatment, and healthcare communication. Her work integrates clinical and research roles, addressing patient care coordination, substance use disorders, and shared decision-making in healthcare.
