Angela Aherrera

Dr. Angela Aherrera is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Her research focuses on environmental hazards and their role in respiratory health outcomes, particularly among vulnerable populations. She investigates exposures to metal/aldehydes from e-cigarette devices and airborne microplastics, including occupational risks for garment workers.
