معرفی
Ane Elida Fonneløp is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis, University of Oslo. Her research focuses on Forensic Genetics, particularly in developing novel methods for forensic trace analysis, such as air and dust sampling, RNA-based time estimation of blood stains, and microbiome analysis for trace-to-location linking. She collaborates on international projects like the ReAct initiative, emphasizing DNA recovery and forensic evidence interpretation. Her work spans DNA analysis techniques (STR, MPS), mRNA profiling, and Bayesian network modeling for activity level assessments. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals such as Forensic Science International: Genetics and Scientific Reports.
Her research also explores environmental DNA (eDNA) applications in forensics, including airborne DNA collection and its investigative utility. Fonneløp’s projects address challenges in trace persistence, secondary transfer, and improving forensic methodologies for low-quality DNA samples. She co-authored studies on mRNA profiling for body fluid identification and Bayesian approaches to DNA transfer scenarios, demonstrating interdisciplinary engagement with statistics and computational biology.
