Andrés Moya Simarro

Andrés Moya Simarro is a Professor of Genetics at the University of Valencia, leading one of Spain's most productive research groups in molecular genetics. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Menéndez Pelayo International University in 2016 for his groundbreaking work in microbial community genomics and metagenomics, particularly in understanding evolution, symbiosis, and systems biology perspectives.
