Andrés Castro Samayoa is an Associate Professor of Higher Education at Boston College's Lynch School of Education. His work focuses on policies affecting students' identities and experiences at Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), diversity in higher education, and LGBTQ+ studies. He holds an A.B. in Women, Gender, and Sexuality from Harvard University, an M.Phil. in Multi-Disciplinary Gender Studies from the University of Cambridge (supported by the Gates Cambridge Scholarship), and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
