André Nijhof

Prof. André Nijhof is a Professor of Sustainable Business and Stewardship at Nyenrode Business University, part of its Faculty Research Center for Entrepreneurship, Governance & Stewardship. His work focuses on embedding long-term value creation in organizational processes while achieving positive societal impact aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals. He holds a PhD from the University of Twente (1999) and has led programs like the Full-Time MSc in Management.

Research interests include sustainable business models, ethical leadership, and the intersection of financial performance with social/environmental goals. His publications explore topics like CSR limitations, impact investing, and sectoral sustainability transitions.
