André Laplume

Dr. André Laplume is a Professor in the Entrepreneurship & Strategy Department at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University. He holds a PhD, MBA, and BCS in addition to extensive industry experience in IT consulting and entrepreneurship. His research focuses on strategic innovation, spinout ventures, and entrepreneurial ecosystems, with a notable 2024 book on spinout transitions. He has served as Director of Research-Based Graduate Programs at the Yeates School of Graduate Studies (2019–2024) and Interim Director of the Entrepreneurship Research Institute (2024–2025).
