Dr. András Éles serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Information Technology, University of Pannonia in Veszprém, Hungary. His academic career is deeply rooted at this institution where he progressed from student to faculty member.
His educational journey includes:
- 2004-2010: Fazekas Mihály High School, Debrecen
- 2010-2014: BSc in Computer Science, University of Pannonia
- 2014-2016: MSc in Computer Science, University of Pannonia
- 2016-2023: Doctoral School of Informatics, University of Pannonia
Dr. Éles specializes in Operations Research and Mathematical Optimization, with expertise spanning linear programming, supply chain optimization, and workforce management. His teaching portfolio includes comprehensive materials on GNU MathProg modeling, Cognos Analytics, and presentations on cryptography and transportation problems available in both Hungarian and English. His research extends to energy consumption optimization and P-Graph modeling applications for biomass supply chains.
He plays a significant role in the PIMS Academy program, a collaboration between University of Pannonia and MOL Group focused on petroleum industry value chain optimization. This program trains specialists in supply chain management for the oil industry using Aspen Tech optimization tools.
