Andrzej Nanowski

Professor Andrzej Nanowski is a faculty member at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk and the D. Baduszkowa Vocal and Acting Studio at Gdynia's Musical Theatre. Holding the title of Professor of Musical Arts since 2014, he previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Vocal and Acting (2012-2020) and currently acts as the Rector's Plenipotentiary for Musical Studies. His career focuses on solo singing education, chamber music performance, and musical theater production.

• Graduated in piano (Prof. J. Sulikowski) and solo singing (Prof. Z. Janukowicz-Pobłocka) from Gdańsk's Academy of Music
• Co-founded musical specialization at Faculty of Vocal and Acting

Research & Performance Highlights:
Active as harpsichordist/organist with Early Music Ensemble "Cappella Gedanensis" (CD/TV recordings). Participated in chamber music festivals across Europe (France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Israel). Collaborated with leading Polish singers in solo recitals and archival radio recordings.

Artistic Achievements:
Recipient of the Bronze Cross of Merit (2003) and Mayor of Gdańsk Award (2012). Recognized for accompaniment at Ada Sari Vocal Art Competition (1983-1993). Nominated for Pomeranian Artistic Award (2002) for his oratorio "The Piaśnica Requiem".
