Andrzej Derdziuk

Prof. Dr. hab. Andrzej Derdziuk, Ph.D., is a Polish Capuchin friar and professor at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin since 1996. Specializing in Moral Theology, Bioethics, and Theology of Consecrated Life, he has supervised 30 doctoral and 221 master's theses while serving in various academic and ecclesiastical roles including Rector of the Capuchin Major Seminary (1996-2006), Vice-Rector for Research (2012-2015), and current parish director in Poczekajka. A prolific author with 31 books and over 250 scholarly articles, his work bridges historical theological frameworks with contemporary ethical challenges.
