Andrzej Bałaban

Prof. Andrzej Bałaban is a distinguished constitutional and EU law scholar at the University of Szczecin's Faculty of Law and Administration. He holds the position of Professor and has served in prominent roles such as Vice-Rector of the University of Szczecin (1993–1996) and Rector of the University of Applied Sciences in Gorzów Wielkopolski (2007–2011). His research focuses on constitutional law, European Union law, and administrative law, with particular emphasis on Poland's legal frameworks and European integration.

Prof. Bałaban has held academic leadership positions including Head of the Department of Constitutional Law and European Integration, and has contributed to shaping legal education through roles like Vice-Dean at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. His career includes service as Secretary General of the Szczecin Scientific Society and membership in the General Council of Higher Education.

His research spans constitutional history, EU legal frameworks, and democratic governance.
