Dr. Andrius Melninkaitis is a Senior Research Fellow and Associate Professor (Docent) at the Laser Research Center of Vilnius University. His research focuses on Laser Optics, Physics of Laser Damage, and Digital Holography.
- Research Focus: Laser-induced damage mechanisms, optical component lifespan prediction, and nonlinear energy absorption in materials.
- Notable Publications: Bayesian lifetime modeling (2021), ZrO2 coating fatigue (2019), time-resolved digital holography (2019), and all-silica mirror development (2017).
