Dr. Andrius Juodagalvis is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy (ITPA), Vilnius University. He actively contributes to the CERN CMS collaboration, focusing on experimental high-energy physics and precision measurements in collider experiments.
His research spans neutrino physics and Drell-Yan process studies, with key publications on seesaw mechanisms (2019) and differential cross-sections at 13 TeV (2019). Juodagalvis leads projects like Physics of subatomic particles in the CERN CMS experiment (2013–2022) and serves as Lithuania's delegate to the CERN Finance Committee since 2018.
He mentors PhD student M. Ambrozas (since 2020) and postdoc D. Jurčiukonis (2011–2012), while teaching Unix OS (since 2018) and World of Particles (since 2020) courses. Juodagalvis also organizes the annual International MasterClass: Hands on particle physics event and contributes to science popularization in Lithuania.
