Andria Christodoulou

Andria Christodoulou is a Lecturer in Applied Clinical Psychology at the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, School of Humanities, Social and Education Sciences, European University Cyprus. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (2021) and a Master of Arts in School Psychology (2012) from the University of Cyprus, with a focus on psychometric evaluations of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) models and behavioral interventions for smoking cessation in adolescents.

Her research spans behavioral science, network analysis, and psychometrics, with a focus on psychological flexibility, vaccination attitudes, and adolescent mental health. Recent studies include network analyses of ACT components, social contagion of vaccination beliefs, and stress scale validation.

She has received Ph.D. scholarships from the University of Cyprus and contributed to projects like SAFEST (social transmission of vaccination beliefs) and ACT-based smoking cessation programs. Collaborations include work with Drs. Karekla, Michaelides, and Kassianos.

Her publications include psychometric evaluations of the Avoidance and Fusion Questionnaire for Youth (2018) and factorial structure analyses of the Perceived Stress Scale (2016), alongside ongoing work on social network interventions for vaccination attitudes.
