Andrew Whiter

Andrew Whiter is an Associate Professor (Education) and Programme Director of the BSc/MSci Management Science programme at University College London's School of Management. His career spans roles in AI research, technology leadership, and education, including positions at HP Laboratories, EY, and as a school teacher. He holds a PhD in AI from the University of Bristol and is a Sloan Fellow at London Business School and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

His research and teaching focus on quantitative methods, data analytics, machine learning, and computational thinking, reflected in courses like Mathematics I/II, Data Analytics I/II, and Computational Thinking. He has led the development and delivery of the Management Science programme since 2014.
