Colonel Andrew W. Zinn is an Assistant Professor at the Eisenhower School of the National Defense University (NDU), where he teaches Senior Acquisition and Strategic Acquisition and Resourcing courses. A U.S. Air Force officer, he specializes in acquisition management, space systems, and combating WMD. Previously, he served as the Military Deputy to the Missile Defense Agency’s Director for Engineering and commanded the 23rd Analysis Squadron. His career includes roles in program offices for the T-6A aircraft, National Reconnaissance Office, and GPS systems, as well as deployments supporting contingency operations.
Zinn holds a commission from the University of Portland’s AF ROTC (1999) and master’s degrees in systems engineering, strategic intelligence, and strategic studies. His research focuses on acquisition policy, space integration, and defense resource strategy.
