Andrew W. Kahrl

Andrew W. Kahrl is Professor of History and African American Studies at the University of Virginia, specializing in systemic racial inequality in housing, real estate, and tax policy. His work examines how Black Americans have been historically dispossessed through discriminatory practices in property taxation and coastal land use.
