Andrew Subudhi

Andrew Subudhi is Professor and Department Chair of Human Physiology & Nutrition at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and Co-Executive Director of the William J Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center. His research focuses on high-altitude physiology, cerebral blood flow regulation, hypoxic exercise responses, and sports performance optimization.

With extensive publications from the AltitudeOmics project, he investigates acclimatization effects on muscle oxygen extraction, cardiovascular function, and metabolic adaptations. Key methodologies include near-infrared spectroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring. He holds a PhD and certifications in sports science (FACSM, CSCS).
