Dr. Andrew Simpson is an Associate Professor and Governing Body Fellow at Kellogg College, University of Oxford, within the Department of Computer Science. He teaches on MSc programs in Software Engineering and Software and Systems Security. His research focuses on formal methods, safety-critical systems, security economics, privacy engineering, and cyber security. He has advised numerous PhD students and led projects like SOFA, NeuroGrid, and Gauge. His work spans theoretical frameworks for privacy compliance, cyber insurance impact analysis, and secure software development economics.
