Dr. Andrew Roe-Crines is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor equivalent) in the Department of Politics at the University of Liverpool, where he joined in 2015. He specializes in political communication, parliamentary behavior, and UK political institutions, with expertise in Conservative/Labour ideologies and rhetorical analysis. His leadership roles include Chair of the Board of Examiners and HLC Academic Assessment Lead.
Research Interests: Roe-Crines focuses on applying ancient rhetorical theories to contemporary British politics, analyzing political discourse, party ideologies, and institutional dynamics. His work examines communication strategies across UK political parties and policy areas like mental health.
