Andrew Rincón serves as Visiting Professor of Theater at Skidmore College, teaching playwriting and directing creative projects like El Mito de Mi Dolor. A Queer Colombian-American artist, he holds a BA in Theater from Florida State University and has developed works with organizations including Latinx Playwrights Circle and New Light Theatre Project. His plays blend fantasy, Latine mythology, and queer narratives, recently premiering I Wanna Fuck Like Romeo and Juliet at NYC's 59E59 Theater.

Research focuses on queer fabulation and intersectional Latine identities, with notable works exploring divine romance (Romeo and Juliet), chronic pain (El Mito), and queer historical reclamation. Awards include the 2018 Chesley/Bumbalo Grant and 2020 MacDowell Fellowship.
Current projects involve collaborative workshops with director Teisha Duncan and dramaturg Lisa Jackson-Schebetta. His teaching emphasizes foundational storytelling principles and experimental creativity.
