Andrew Norton

Dr. Andrew Norton is a Professor in the Department of Entomology at Colorado State University. His research examines the ecology and evolution of pest organisms and their hosts, with particular focus on multitrophic interactions in biological control systems, indirect effects, and interaction modification.

Current research projects include biological control of tamarisk (Tamarix spp.) and toadflaxes (Linaria spp.), interactions between plant resource availability and weed biological control efficacy, and pollinator-mediated competition between invasive weeds and native plants. He teaches courses including AGRI 116 (Plants and Civilizations) and BIOL 500 (Foundations of Biology).
