Andrew McCall is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Columbia University. His research investigates how police department structures influence racial inequality in policing, utilizing formal models and archival sources. He earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, and a B.A. in Philosophy and Religion as a National Achievement Scholar at Truman State University. Prior to joining Columbia, he held a Provost Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Chicago.
