معرفی
Andrew Linshaw is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Denver's College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, where he has served since fall 2013 after completing postdoctoral positions at National University of Singapore, University of California San Diego, and TU Darmstadt.
He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brandeis University in 2005 under Bong H. Lian's supervision. His academic journey includes developing interdisciplinary connections between mathematical theory and practical applications.
Linshaw's research centers on representation theory with significant applications to mathematical physics, while also pioneering the intersection of mathematics and visual arts through his first-year seminar. His collaborative approach bridges theoretical mathematics with physics research and artistic expression.
He actively supervises Ph.D. students and teaches across undergraduate and graduate mathematics curricula, maintaining strong collaborative ties with both mathematicians and physicists to advance research in theoretical frameworks and their real-world implementations.
