Andrew L Snow, Ph.D. is a Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) in the School of Medicine and Department of Pharmacology & Molecular Therapeutics. His research focuses on human immunology, lymphocyte signaling, and primary immune disorders.

Snow's work investigates genetic and molecular disruptions in antigen receptor pathways, particularly through CARD11 mutations causing BENTA and CADINS syndromes. His lab serves as a global referral center for validating CARD11 variants of unknown significance (VUS) in undiagnosed inborn errors of immunity (IEI) patients. Other key projects include studying restimulation-induced cell death (RICD) in T cells, especially in X-linked lymphoproliferative syndrome (XLP-1) where SAP deficiency impairs RICD sensitivity, and developing novel assays for KIT VUS validation in mast cell disorders.

Recent publications highlight his contributions to understanding NF-κB and JNK signaling, immune dysregulation in IEIs, and the role of autoantibodies against type I IFNs in severe viral infections. His articles span immunology, genetics, and infectious disease research with specific subfields in lymphocyte apoptosis, genetic immunopathology, and metabolic reprogramming.
