Andrew Jordan Greenlee

Andrew Jordan Greenlee is a Professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois, with additional affiliations in the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies and the Center for Social & Behavioral Science. He serves as Director of Graduate Studies for Urban and Regional Planning. His research focuses on spatial equity, housing policy, environmental justice, and urban sustainability, with a geographic emphasis on Latin America and U.S. urban regions.

Greenlee’s work bridges theory and practice, addressing issues such as gentrification, opportunity hoarding, and the intersection of urban development with marginalized communities. He collaborates on interdisciplinary projects, including studies on federal housing policies, urban agriculture, and climate resilience.
