Andrew Jackson is a Full Professor at ETH Zurich's Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences and Head of the Institute of Geophysics since January 2006. His research focuses on geophysical fluid dynamics, particularly Earth's core processes and planetary magnetism.
- Research Themes: Thermal convection in planetary cores, numerical modeling of geostrophic flows, Earth's magnetic field history, GPU-accelerated geophysical simulations
