Andrew Huebner is a Professor in the Department of History at the University of Alabama, specializing in modern U.S. cultural history with focus on war and society. He earned his PhD from Brown University in 2004. His research examines the intersections of gender, race, and military conflict in American history since 1865.
Research Interests: Huebner's work explores cultural dimensions of American warfare, gender dynamics in military contexts, and societal impacts of conflicts from the Civil War to modern engagements.
