Andrew Danis

Andrew Danis is a Lecturer at Norwich University in the College of Arts & Sciences, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He joined the faculty in 2002, teaching courses such as Introduction to Organic and Biochemistry and General Chemistry.

• Education: B.Sc. in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy (2007); Ph.D. in Chemistry from McGill University (2019).

Research Interests focus on electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL), redox-flow batteries, and lithium-ion battery materials. His work explores ECL enhancement via polymer self-assembly and spectroscopic analysis of cathode conductivity in energy storage systems.

Labs & Collaborations include the Mauzeroll Lab (McGill University), Rodriguez-Lopez Lab (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign), and Schougaard Lab (UQAM). These teams are affiliated with initiatives like the Joint Center for Energy Storage Research (JCESR).
