Andrew Crouse

Andrew Crouse is a Professor at the University of Iowa College of Law, joining the faculty in 2020. He teaches Legal Analysis, Writing & Research, Professional Responsibility, Contract Drafting Bootcamp, and Negotiation Theory. Previously, he held academic positions at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, serving as Assistant Dean of Law Students and Diversity, Legal Counsel, and later as Visiting Assistant Professor and Administrative Director of their blended-learning JD program.

Professor Crouse's expertise spans litigation (pharmaceutical, medical-device, consumer-action), corporate acquisitions, GDPR compliance, legal education innovation, and professional ethics. His practice background informs scholarship in transactional law and dispute resolution methodologies.

Professional Service:
Volunteered as Special Assistant State Public Defender at the Minnesota Appellate Public Defender Office and served on the Second District Ethics Committee investigating attorney misconduct in Ramsey County.
