Andrew Bonnell is an Associate Professor in History at the University of Queensland's School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry. He holds a BA (Hons) and PhD from the University of Sydney. His research focuses on Modern German history, including German Social Democracy, cultural/intellectual history, and the political context of 19th-20th century Europe. He is editor of the Australian Journal of Politics and History and has authored/co-edited numerous books and articles.
