Andrew Beaty serves as Dean of Moody Online and a Teaching Professor at Moody Theological Seminary (Applied Theology and Church Ministries Department) since 2013. He earned a BA from Moody Bible Institute, an MACE from Dallas Theological Seminary, and an EdD from Illinois State University.

Dr. Beaty contributes to educational discourse through publications on electronic devices in developing nations and global online theological training. He co-authored The Christian Educator's Handbook on Children's Ministry, emphasizing practical strategies for next-gen ministry.
He is deeply involved in the graduate residency partnership between his church and Moody Bible Institute, extending his family's multi-generational legacy at Moody. Dr. Beaty and his wife have five biological children and adopted six with special needs, actively participating in their church's special needs ministry.
