Dr Andrew Abel is a Lecturer at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Strathclyde, specializing in Human-Centered AI technologies that enhance educational inclusion and accessibility. His work bridges artificial intelligence with multimodal signal processing to address real-world challenges in speech perception and human-computer interaction.

Research Focus: Dr Abel leads the Human-centred AI Technologies for Inclusion in Education and Society project (2023-2027), focusing on AI-driven educational accessibility.
