Andreja Jonoski

Andreja Jonoski is a researcher at the Hydroinformatics Chair Group of IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, where he focuses on groundwater modeling, flood risk management, and decision support systems (DSS). His work integrates computational hydraulics with optimization techniques and socio-technical approaches for participatory water governance.

His recent publications analyzed climate impacts on hydrology, nature-based solutions for drought, and real-time reservoir control using machine learning. He has contributed to improving global data usability for water management and developing cloud-based tools for flood modeling.

Andreja has coordinated IHE Delft's Hydroinformatics Masters program and pioneered internet/mobile-based DSS for stakeholder participation in water decision-making. He continues to advance collaborative modeling frameworks and model-data fusion techniques.
