Andrei Okounkov is the Samuel Eilenberg Professor of Mathematics at Columbia University, where he specializes in Representation Theory. He earned his Ph.D. from Moscow State University in 1995.
His research focuses on algebraic structures and symmetries in mathematical systems, particularly through the lens of Representation Theory.
